PHP_Debug V2.1.3 released | Fri, 02 May 2008 14:52:40 GMT

     This is just a small update to correct and close minor bugs that were on the [Pear bug tracker|http://pear.php.net/bugs/search.php?cmd=display&package_name\[0\]=PHP_Debug]. I have also finally added the sources on the [php csv server|http://cvs.php.net/viewvc.cgi/pear/PHP_Debug/]. The last step will be to do the end user documentation in the [DocBook|http://doc.php.net/php/dochowto/c346.php] format so it can be available in the [official pear documentation|http://pear.php.net/manual/].

- Pear version is 1.0.1
- Sourceforge version is 2.1.3
- PHP_Debug on pear -> http://pear.php.net/package/PHP_Debug
- PHP_Debug homepage -> http://www.php-debug.com

PHP_Debug V2.1.1 is Pearified ! | Fri, 04 May 2007 06:33:47 GMT

     Well, this release will be the 1st one to take part of the Pear project. It was finally accepted with a +14 total (one conditional) :) witch is quiet good, the feedbacks were also very positive. I had to do some clean up to fit 100% of Pear coding standard. But now it's over and i am happy that my lib is an official Pear package.

One new feature of this release is a tab concerning W3C validation, there also small bug fixes. Now, i would prefer the bug to be reported to the official Pear bug tracker.

--> http://pear.php.net/bugs/search.php?cmd=display&package_name%5B%5D=PHP_Debug

Be carefull, the version number are not the same on Sourceforge and Pear, the 1.0.0RC1 version of Pear is in fact the 2.1.1 of Sourceforge. But the only thing that differs is the name of the file. The package is excatly the same.

I hope you will enjoy this release, check the changelog here.

See you. COil :) (0 comments)

PHP_Debug V2.1.0 | Thu, 05 Apr 2007 23:33:59 GMT

     After quiet a long time of inactivity, here is a new release of my debug library, V2.1.0. This year, Symfony http://www.symfony-project.com gave me an idea for a new renderer for my lib... In fact, i have taken the idea of the "[debug floating div http://www.php-debug.com/www/PHP_Debug_HTML_Div_test.php to display the debug informations, well the display is almost the same than the Sf one, except for the logo... And there is still the old table renderer but is should not be used now because the div one is far more pratical to use. Want to see ?? You can find a the demo on the website http://www.php-debug.com/www/PHP_Debug_HTML_Div_test.php ;) (0 comments)

     Finally ! It is a PHP5 version only, what's new ? A lot of things ! In fact all was re-rewritten in a better way ! The most important improvments are: new style, no need to specify __FILE__ and __LINE__, new and easy to remember public functions, variable watcher, PHP error handler replacment....

The website is also updated... nice docs, tutorials, everything you need to start with PHP_Debug, you should't be lost. I hope you will enjoy, you can check the changelog here http://www.php-debug.com/www/changelog.php

I think i will release a new version in 1 or 2 months with small bug fixes, stay tuned. COil :) (0 comments)
